Corporate Code of Behavior

Principles of Conduct 1. We shall insist on ethical practices. We, the officers and employees, shall behave in a moderate
fashion as members of the company and of society, based onhonesty and sincerity as human beings, and shall not violate this Corporate Code of Behavior or our own professional ethics. 2. We shall comply with laws and regulations. We shall carry out our business activities with a high ethical sense, in observance not only of this Corporate Code of Behavior but also of laws and regulations, social norms, and company rules. We shall endeavor in particular to ensure that all officers and employees understand and observe the Amusement Business Act that applies to our industry. 3. We shall respect human rights. We shall respect the basic human rights of all people. Respecting their diversity, character, and individuality, we shall in no way discriminate against people or treat them unfairly by reason of race, religion, beliefs, gender, age, social standing, or physical or mental disability. We shall further free ourselves of the prejudices and fixed notions that give rise to discrimination of all kinds, and shall respect the diversity of values and cultures. 4. We shall engage in free and fair competition, and build transparent relations. We shall conduct proper transactions based on fair, transparent, and free competition, and shall act first of all to build public trust, contributing to the advancement of a sound industry. We shall further maintain transparent and sound relations with our business partners, administrative agencies, and government officials. 5. We shall not compromise with antisocial forces. We shall take a firm stance against all antisocial forces, including companies, organizations, and individuals, that threaten public order, and we strictly reject any relationship with such forces. We shall be resolute in the face of improper demands or threats by antisocial forces and shall not cooperate with them in any way. 6. We shall work actively to protect the environment. Aware of the influence of business activities on the environment, we shall carry out regular, voluntary, and active efforts to maintain and protect the environment as an essential requirement for our corporate existence and activities. We shall treat with care the world’s limited natural resources and energy. 7. As corporate citizens, we shall promote corporate social responsibility. With the aim of building a sound and spiritually rich society, we shall actively carry out programs that contribute to society by communicating with the public. We shall further support endeavors in a wide range of fields that lead to the advancement of society. 8. We shall strive for harmony and mutual development with local communities. We shall act in self-awareness as good corporate citizens, supporting and walking together with society, actively striving for harmony with local communities and aiming for mutual sustained development. 9. We shall strive for workplace vitality and respect for the individual. We shall endeavor to create a safe and healthy work environment, and shall carry out fair and impartial assessment of abilities and performance, respecting each employee’s character and individuality and valuing motivation and the willingness to grow. Recognizing that the happiness of employees is the origin of sincerity toward customers and society, we shall create an enjoyable and enriching environment for our employees. 10. We shall properly manage confidential information and the company’s assets, and shall respect privacy. Duly understanding the importance of the information involved in carrying out our operations, we shall properly protect information in keeping with its characteristics, and shall never make improper use of this information or of the company’s tangible assets or intellectual property. We shall take every measure to prevent the misuse of information, including the confidential information of companies we do business with, the personal information of officers and employees, and customer information.
